| I am a stay-at-home mom of three kiddos...2 very busy boys (ages 7 & 8) and a sweet little girl (age 3)! I'm also a very blessed wife of a seminary professor.

| I grew up living next door to my grandparents in southern Alabama and was blessed to learn the craft of sewing (and many other things) from my "Granny." My Granny sewed for the public and decorators making all kinds of home decor items. I spent many afternoons while I was in middle school behind a serger machine edging ruffles for her. (That was in the 80's when Dorthy's Ruffled Curtains were big.) I worked with her sewing until I went off to college. I never dreamed in a million years that I would sew again.

| Fast foward 12 plus years...in 2001 my husband and I moved to Wake Forest, North Carolina, for him to finish up his schooling. I decided to take a quilting class to meet other ladies. My interest in sewing was sparked again. I took on a project sewing home decor items for a fellow classmate. I was still working full time so I just sewed on the side when a project came along. It wasn't long until we were expecting our first child. After quitting my job to stay at home with our son, I started piddling a little more with sewing. I didn't have too much time to really get into sewing because I was soon expecting our second son. When our youngest was 6 months, I sold my "sewing" machine and bought an embroidery machine. I had so much fun monogramming things and trying to learn how to use my machine. That was September of 2004 and here I am...

| I would be remiss if I didn't mention the most foundational thing about me...Jesus Christ. Handbags & embroidered items are cute, but those things really don't matter in light of eternity. The Lord was gracious to save me and draw me into a personal relationship with Him in my youth. His grace sustains me as He is daily working in my life to make me more like Him. While I sew for others, "it the the Lord Jesus Christ whom I serve". (Colossians 3:24) Follow this link to learn more about knowing Jesus Christ.
